Procurement Sustainability
In direct response to Microsoft's sustainability goals, the Procurement Sustainability program was formed in 2020 to target and reduce Microsoft's supplier (scope 3) GHG emissions - one of the largest and most difficult areas to reduce for most organizations.
Providing guidance and resources, the Procurement Sustainability program supports suppliers in reducing their own scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions by 55% by 2030, in-line with Microsoft's Supplier Code of Conduct (SCoC) requirements.
